§ 66-33. Rates and charges.

(a)

The charge for garbage collection services provided by the village shall be $45.74 per calendar quarter. This amount represents $37.05 in garbage collection fees and $8.69 in recycling fees for resident services. The amount for senior services shall be $34.32 per calendar quarter. The amount represents $27.80 in garbage collection fees and $6.52 in recycling fees. Senior services refer to permanent and primary village residents, age 62 and over, at such time that they apply for the senior rate reduction.

(b)

A delayed payment charge equal to ten percent of any bill shall be added to any bill not paid in full by its due date.

(c)

This section, after its passage and approval, shall become effective with the January 2008 billing and the same shall be published in the Midweek, a newspaper published in and of general circulation in the Village of Hinckley. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby declared null and void.
