§ 2-127. Appointment of village clerk.

Pursuant to Section 3.1-25-90(a) of the Illinois Municipal Code (65 ILCS 5/3.1-25-90(a)), the office of village clerk shall be filled by appointment by the Village President with the concurrence of the village board rather than by election. Said appointment shall be made at the same time and in the same manner as committee positions of the village board.
